Help Clean up our neighborhood

We the residents of Beaver Street would like to come in front of you the Village board to discuss the safety and well being of our neighborhood.

Many of us on days feel like prisoners in our homes because it is not safe. We are at our wits end, and come to you for help. In our neighborhood we have approx 25 children and are ranging from 2 days to 15 years old.

We feel people neglect to respect our children by:

* Speeding past in cars and whipping around the corner
* Selling and buying and using of drugs in the park, on the corner, streets and in our yards and or driveway
* breaking of beer and alcohol bottles in our driveways sidewalks yards and roads
* fighting in road our yards and driveways
* vulgar language and actions and total disrespect of people and or property
* impeding traffic
* breaking curfew on weekdays and weekends
* littering
* loitering
* trespassing
* stealing of our children’s bikes and balls

Above are just a few things. These people are setting the wrong example to our children we need your help to stand up and help us be the voices for our children. It has also been brought to my attention about a handyman working at 110 Beaver Street is a level 2 sex offender and has been asking children to come pick flowers in the back yard or help clean the house and watching them play outside.
