This petition was created in protest of the Class of 2006 Senior Gift Scholarship, which won second place to that of Root Glen extension.
The Root Glen extension rightfully won the popular vote and should therefore be pursued.
The Senior Class took an online vote to choose the Senior Class Gift for 2006. The Class voted for the extension of Root Glen.
However, logistics of the project were a concern and the second place winner, a scholarship, was chosen instead. We feel this to be unfair and unjust and ask that the Root Glen extension gift, which won the popular vote, remain in its original form or altered such that it becomes a feasible project.
