Citizens for Friday Night Lights in Beachwood is a community group that is interested in the construction of a permanent lighting system to be installed at the High School Football Stadium.
Our goal is to research how this project would be a benefit to the City of Beachwood. The goal is to allow for Friday night football games as well as other evening sporting or community events. It is our attempt to work in partnership with the City of Beachwood and Beachwood City Schools to increase a better sense of community and foster goodwill for other issues that will face our community in the future.
This will be a positive committee that is cognizant of the importance of maintaining good relations with the school system as well as city government. The Citizens for Friday Night Lights will be respectful, yet firm in researching the issues as they relate to the installation of permanent lights at the football stadium.
We will use objective criteria such as accuracy, reliability, and fair representation of all significant points of view to be used as to work toward finding a solution which meets the legitimate interests of all concerned parties.
We, the Citizens for Friday Night Lights at Beachwood, petition Beachwood City Schools School Board and Administration to allow construction of a permanent lighting system to be installed at the High School Football Stadium. Construction of the installation of lights will be fully funded with private donations with no liability to the taxpayers of the City of Beachwood.
The goal is to allow for Friday night football games as well as other sporting events. It is our attempt to work in partnership with the City of Beachwood and Beachwood City Schools to increase a better sense of community and foster goodwill for other issues that will face our community in the future.
We hope that with a sufficient number of signatures that Beachwood City Schools will take the steps necessary with the City of Beachwood to make this dream a reality.
