Care-Van is a (GRTC) Para-Transit company should help the aged and physically challenged while servicing Henrico County & Richmond City.
Complaints of Care-Van:
1. Not answering phone calls.
2. Hanging up on customers.
3. Being on hold for as long as an hour (or more).
4. Vans not showing up.
5. Vans not waiting the full 5 minutes for their rider.
6. Phone operators don't listen and they're rude.
7. Vans run late consistently.
8. Rides are overly costly for limited disability income.
9. Lack of cost-effective routing; Ex.: Using multiple buses to provide rides to customers leaving from same starting point & going to same destination.
10. When dispatcher contacts the van driver to ask current location, the drivers do not answer truthfully as to the van's location & expected arrival time of pick up.
We, the undersigned, call on Care-Van to expedite reservations and travel in a more timely, cost-effective manner, with courtesy and without raising the cost of fare.
