There are thousands of Canadians whole suffer from permanent disabilities who are unable to work due to their disability. They are reliant on Provincial and Federal Disability Income Support and often live at or, below the poverty line for significant periods of their lives.

Canadian Banks have been aware of the economic positions of Students and Seniors for years and have provided low-cost banking services to these persons. Yet, after years of record surpluses Canadian Banks have failed to meet the need for low cost banking services for persons with sever disabilities.

We the below signed recognize the need for low cost banking services for persons with sever disabilities who receive economic support for the Federal or, Provincial Governments.

We ask the Banks of Canada to finally, recognize the needs of these persons and act! By providing low-cost banking services at the same cost as full-time students and seniors or, for free.
