The Iranian regime has, since taking power in 1979 with the support of army and military forces, arrests, prison sentences, terror and similar attempts to silence and subjugate the workers but they have failed time after time.

The workers have fought in different ways and have demanded their rights. The regime has crushed all labor organizations and workers that the workers have succeeded in forming the Revolution; they have arrested, imprisoned and killed many workers and labor activists and socialists, many of whom were forced to flee the country.

Over the past 10 years, workers' protests and demands have become clearer and contradictions of Iranian capitalist regime have become stronger, it is obvious that the regime has become more heavy-handed. During the struggle, they have become more aware of the regime created governmental organizations called worker’s house and Islamic workers.

Hence, workers have become stronger in their desire to form their free and independent organizations without government immigrant or permission. After several years of oppression and subjugation, the workers decided to form their own organizations. In 2005 formed bus drivers work organization and several working committees and coordinating committees for the formation of labor organizations was developed. In 2008 formed Sugar Workers working organization in Haft Tape. They have been at the forefront of workers' struggles in recent times.
The workers were forced for years to celebrate May 1 in secret and outside the cities or to celebrate May Day in a smaller scale.

The regime has constantly attacked the working collections, continued to ban May Day, sacked workers organizers, imprisoned, interrogated the workers, this is daily news for the working class in Iran. But the workers have never been quiet and shown their opposition through demonstrations, strikes, blockades and various actions and protests.

The last two years, the workers called to the home myself collections in the middle of big cities and has 10 labor organizations and committees have published May 1 resolution, which include stopping temporary jobs, demanded job security, stop the layoffs, the right wages, collect the missing wages, social and unemployment insurance, free right to strike, freedom - and freedom of assembly, the right to organize freely and the right to celebrate May 1 the resolution calls for rights for children, adolescents, elderly and retired, supports teachers, nurses and other social forces struggle and demands. It requires immediate suspension of the death penalty and the immediate and unconditional release of all imprisoned workers and all political prisoners. They support the Afghan workers and other National liter rights and rights in Iran. They support workers' struggles in other parts of the world and considers itself part of the international working class.

The regime has attacked May 1 collections and arrested and injured many workers. The regime have used purely criminal methods, such as whipped workers and required a massive bail for parole. The workers themselves have organized financial support in order to support working class families while their supply and wages are stopped because of imprisonment or wherever required money for the release of arrested workers.

In recent years, workers in Iran were forced to fight another enemy called American Solidarity Centre, which is a sub-organization of the U.S. government that has as a method to purchase the labor movement in various countries through economic aid, that is, to make its policies and agent activities.

Fortunately, workers have been awake and stop these anti-labor policies, and revealed it. They still have their agents in Iran and by various means to try to get in among the workers. They have great influence among trade unions in the Western world and have a large apparatus that directly and indirectly affect workers' movement internationally.

The arrests of the workers has escalated during the years 2009 and 2010, still in many labor activists imprisoned by their crimes is that they have attempted to form labor organizations, protesting layoffs and so on. However, the regime accusing the workers that they risk the country's security and generate confusion in public opinion.

The workers in Iran have not been quiet about it and fought hard and had strong support outside of Iran that have strong workers in their daily struggle. The workers of Iran are also fighting hard to meet their essential needs every day but the third minimum wage regime has itself determined by three pairs of talks between representatives from the state, employers and the false workers' representatives.
The most important thing that the workers have in their agenda today is to form workplace associations, frequent contacts between the various sites, combat division that made the workers who have permanent employment, those with temporary work and those who have day to day jobs and have created large separations between the workers.

The workers made up of factions, but have recently managed to work together for the whole class interest. The workers are fighting both the public and the underground to organize themselves and the police "climate-change has forced the workers to organize themselves in different ways, begin to form workers' committees, cells, groups and the like.

In 2009 a popular movement has begun for electoral fraud in Iran that people have used it as a means to influence the position of power to their advantage. Large parts of the people have no illusion of different factions within the regime. Islamic regime has a collection of various Islamic groups who have agreed to share power in different levels of economy and military, but the time has become more difficult for those that cooperate and share power. Therefore created a power struggle within the regime and was found open at the elections in 2009.

The regime of the whole has been always united in the suppression of the people and workers and all have been involved in the criminal acts against the workers and other social movements such as women, students and similar.

With regard to international situation of Iran can be said briefly that most of Iran wants is more power but the states of the West would however want to give the smaller or lower positions. States in other parts of the world has shown in practice that they are not friends with the Iranian people and workers, but they go hand in hand with the Islamic regime.

The workers and the people of Iran are seeking support among the workers and working people in the world and happy to demonstrate solidarity with other workers of the world.
