Vista Montana Homes Plans to build over 800 residential units right next to our neighborhood.
1.There are no plans to increase the only entrance into our neighborhood Renaissance Drive to accomodate the increase in traffic.
2. The 6 story building plan does not fit into the current neighborhood
3.The project would result in air quality impacts for our residents
4.The project approval would result in light and glare impacts for our residents
5. The 2005 NSJ FPEIR describes the project area as likely including contaminated soils due to the
nature of the uses present in the area historically
6. Construction Staff parking in our neighborhood
7. Dust and Debris from removal and reconstruction
8. Construction Noise would disturb our neighborhood for a minimum of 30 Months
9. No plans for additional police/fire stations or schools to accomodate new residents
10. Resale value of our homes will be impacted
We would strongly urge the City of San Jose to reconsider the approval of this development.
As a resident/homeowner in the California Impressions neighborhood I strongly oppose the approval of Vista Montana Homes' planned demolition and development.
