The Gloucester Cajun and Zydeco Festival has been running for over 11 years and is the biggest of its kind in the UK. Grammy nominated musicians have appeared at this festival and it enriches the lives of the people attending (with many coming from oversees) as well as the people of Gloucester.
In addition, the festival, by attracting a stable following, supports local business and commerce during its commencement.
We the undersigned call on the Gloucestershire County Council to support the 'Gloucester Cajun and Zydeco Festival' for the foreseeable future.
