Costco offers more than the competitor (sams club) who people are having to settle for and spend their money at because there is not a costco within 30 miles. Costco has a commitment to signature offerings and never marks up more than 15%. Every decision Costco makes comes down to what the member wants.
In short, Costco has nicer products, cleaner stores and caters to a different demographic than Sam's and Walmart.
We the people of League city, tx. want Costco Wholesale in our city.
In an area that has been dominated by Walmart and sams, the signers of this petition believe the addition of a Costco will be beneficial to our city. It encourages a healthy free enterprise environment. It also provides competition for Sam’s Club.
This is good for businesses and for consumers. Consumers get the opportunity to pick and choose who gets their money, time and attention.
