There is only a couple of ways to get in and out of Lee on the Solent, Stubbington and Gosport. This means that during peak times in the mornings and evenings as people travel to and from work from these places the roads come to a stand still.
As a recent arrival to Lee, I now have experienced first hand that making a short 5 mile journey to Titchfield took me 35 minutes. A friend travelling from Bognor to Titchfield only took 5 minutes more!
Calling residents of Gosport, Stubbington and Lee on the Solent. If you are one of the hundreds of people who, like me, sit in tail backed traffic every work day morning and evening for far longer than the distance should take to travel, then please help to get the council to look at the road system available to us. We the undersigned ask Fareham Borough Council to seriously consider looking at the building of a Bypass to avoid Stubbington and the daily grid lock it causes during rush hours.
