The traffic congestion and travelling time that Whittlesey residents and visitors are having to endure is getting beyond ridiculous.

The railway barrier can come down upton 10 times every hour and the congestion is made much much worse when the back Wash Road becomes flooded.

Residents and visitors have had enough and something needs to be done NOW.

FENLAND DISTRICT COUNCIL - WHITTLESEY TOWN CAN TAKE NO MORE. We need a bridge building over the level crossing, to stop this ridiculous build up of traffic congestion and added journey times.

It can take residents over an hour during rush hours to get to and from Whittlesey (which should take no longer than 10 minutes). This is due to railway crossing barriers closing up to 10 times every hour along with extensive added traffic when flooding of the Wash Road occurs.

We as residents deserve to be listened to. Surely the new supermarket that is due to be built (which will in turn bring even more traffic to our town) should be helping with funding for this long awaited bridge.

WE WILL NOT BE IGNORED ANY LONGER, WE DEMAND SOMETHING IS DONE AND NOW!
