It is worthy of note that earlier this year, precisely April the operators of DSTV and GOTV Multichoice introduced a 20% price hike on all the bouquets on DSTV and their new entrant into the Nigerian Market GoTV.
This did not go well with most of us the subscribers but Multichoice being the sole provider of premium programs we adjusted accordingly.
To our greatest shock we woke up on the 1st of October to discover one of the favorite Channels ONE GOSPEL 1G was no more on both platforms. This was done without any prior notification whatsover, only to read on some blog Multichoice announcing the removal of One Gospel.
The reasons stated in the said blog for removing ONE GOSPEL are totally unacceptable and a slap in our faces the subscribers.
We, the undersigned, call on the Federal Government of Nigeria and all her agencies, The Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation, Nigeria Communications Commission, Consumer Protection Council etc to call Multichoice to order the return of the One Gospel Channel and apologize for such gross negligence.
