Trader Joe's stores are a favorite of many in the Indian Wells Valley, but the nearest store is over an hour's drive away. Ridgecrest California has a current population of over 30,000 residents and has served as a hub for the Indian Wells Valley and surrounding communities such as Inyokern, Trona, California City, Lake Isabella, Lone Pine and Bishop.
It is the border where 3 different counties meet and a frequent stop for travelers and tourists on U.S. Route 395 as they travel North towards Mammoth Lakes California and Reno Nevada, South towards Los Angeles California or East to Las Vegas Nevada. Ridgecrest is also a frequent stop for visitors to Death Valley California which is a 151mi drive East of Ridgecrest with very few stops in between.
As residents in the Indian Wells Valley we are requesting that Trader Joe's Stores would seriously consider opening a local store in Ridgecrest California where we, as a community, would strongly support a local store that is both environmentally conscious and health conscious.
We, the undersigned, are standing in support of bringing a Trader Joe's store to Ridgecrest California and commit to actively and consistently supporting our local Trader Joe's store should a store be opened here.
