PREAMBLE
This is not a petition to force students to pray at school, but a petition to allow students of faith to practice freedom of religion in The United States of America.
Amendment I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Since Prayer is a major part of the main world religions that's practiced in America:
(Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc.) it is only in the entrance of fairness to allow students to pray during their freedom of assembly.None believing students may have their moment in taking a deep breath. to reflect on being positive,
This prayer/ time out will decrease Crime and other illegal activity at School because:
1. Prayer Calms a believers nerves and allows them a chance to receive positive instructions from God.
2. After Prayer a believer is more forgiving and would be least likely to get involved in illegal activity at school.
For None believing people:
1. A deep breath is scientifically proven to slow your heart rate.
2. A deep breath triggers awareness that, in that moment, you are fine.
That's why we are petitioning our Government to allow prayer back to our public schools, that we may have a Peaceful and safe America for our children.
We The People petition our Government Of The United States Of America, to put Prayer back into public Schools across The United States Of America. We know that two land mark decisions, Engel V. Vitale (1962) and Abington School District V. Schempp (1963).
The US Supreme Court established what is now the current prohibition on state sponsored prayer in schools. Since our Government has voted 8 to 1 in favor of Engel removing our State sponsored prayers and deem it unconstitutional, gang violence has escalated,teen pregnancies are at an all time high,drugs and alcohol and massive shootings have taken place.
We The People Of The United States Of America, petition our Government to put our schools back to The Place when it was a safer America,and that is a place of prayer.
Bless The Nation who's God is The Lord (Psalm 33:12). Sign the petition to get prayer back into our public schools. In all our ways acknowledge the Lord and He will direct our path.
