Thanks to everyone who signed the petition. I regret to say that as a result of my Ignorance in researching further into the Bill this will not likely be possible. A petition with names of 100,000 ontario residents is needed. Sorry again, i hope someone in ontario will be able to succeed.
This petition is to bring pitbulls back to Ontario after being banned through Bill 132, the Public Safety Related to Dogs Statute Law Amendment Act March 1, 2005, that would amend the Dog Owners' Liability Act.
Pitbulls were officially banned on August 29, 2005.
We, the undersigned, call on the Government of Ontario to bring pitbulls and other banned dogs back to Ontario by abolishing the Public Safety Related to Dogs Statute Law Amendment Act.
