Petition Background (Preamble):
Weekday and Saturday morning cartoons have disappeared from syndication and over the air networks due to regulations and meddling by congress and the FCC in the 1990s.
This meddling has killed enjoyable Weekday and Saturday cartoon programmings from OTA networks, robbing today's children of something we all enjoyed as kids. By robbing the networks and advertisers the ability to market to children and make money, we have lost a treasure.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the Congress to eliminate the regulations placed on television networks that have caused the extinction of the cartoons and programming that we as children have enjoyed. Help us restore weekday and weekend cartoon programming, and remove the oppressive burden of feral legislation on advertisers and network operators.
