The federal government has banned firecrackers and has turned the kids of Australia into cotton wool babies.
The fun of blowing up crackers - penny bungers, halfpenny bungers, skyrockets, throwdowns, tom thumbs, and the good old standard cracker cannot be underestimated.
Who cares if the occasional finger gets blown off or someone drops a cracker down your pants - it is all worth it to build the Aussie male character.
Cut the political correctness crap - we want crackers to be available for Guy Fawkes nights and other important days for the Queen's subjects, like her birthday.
We, the people of Australia, petition that firecrackers be made to be legally sold throughout Australia at any milk bar in weeks preceding Guy Fawkes Night and Her Majesty's Birthday.
