Indonesian Government

We believe that the measure of all societies and governments should be their ability to look after all of the people under their care; regardless of gender race religion or abilities.

We believe a truly civilised system should deal with the present and prepare for a better future for those under its care.

To this end we believe that all actions that damage the present and contribute no benefit for the future are misguided and would be a mistake!

The execution of the two young men Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran by the Indonesian government would be such a mistake. Each of these young men have shown that they have much to offer that has a positive impact on the future of others.

We implore the Indonesian government to spare these young men's lives if they truly want to have an impact on drug smuggling. Capital punishment as countless studies have shown will not! It would be a grave mistake to let a campaign promise block an act of humanity in the present.

We don't for a moment wish to negatively impact the lives of the ordinary Balinese or Indonesian citizen by promoting the Boycott Bali campaign; we merely want the Indonesian government to listen to the Australian people!

This will have a lasting impact on the economy of Bali and Indonesia if the good will between us is damaged in this way!

We as the Australian people are begging, please do not kill our BOYS! The Australian government has pleaded with you to show mercy!

In the interest of a positive future for Australians and Indonesians alike we ask you to let these young men live and continue to contribute to a better world!

We will boycott Indonesia if Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan are executed!

Remorse, rehabilitation and redemption are the three key words that should be considered when considering the awful and now seemingly imminent fate of these two young men.

These young men should not be executed because each of them is truly remorseful, each of them is truly rehabilitated and each of them truly deserves a shot at redemption.

These young men are simply not the same people now as the boys then who comitted their awful crimes. They are thoughtful and compassionate young men who are trying to make ammends; one with the soul of an artist and one with the soul of a priest. Young men who are giving to others every day and trying to improve the lives of others. They are two young men who are redeeming themselves every day by their actions and they must be allowed to continue doing so.

Love and forgiveness are two of the highest of human virtues and possibly our greatest weapons against evil, revenge is simply a base reaction and will achieve nothing. The young men must pay for their crimes but if we truly care for humanity we must show love and forgiveness.

The world can only be a better place with two men, such as they are now, in it; and only a worse place with two such men gone. We cannot sit back and let this happen. Simple! ‪#‎boycottbalifortheboys‬

We request the Indonesian government grant clemency to Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan from the death penalty.
