We the people of the village of Munnsville, NY came here with the intention of being able to enjoy our land whether with crops or live stock.
As we came to an area that is farm country living and a village that offers a "Future Farmers of America", how can it be against rules to actually have those animals / livestock in our village for such a successful program as the FFA?
We as bonnie and Brodie's owners have no intentions of breeding eating or distributing the meat or milk or any sellable /merchandise/products from our goats. Bonnie and Brodie are very much a part of our family and have been since they were days old.
We have local walkers that enjoy seeing and interacting with our family goats and are sad to see a dispute.
We the people of the village of Munnsville have no internal issues or neighborly concerns with the placement or daily care of Bonnie and Brodie as long as there is no future smells and the pen is kept clean.
We would like to ask the village of Munnsville to fix remove or revamp the local rule of no livestock as well as housing and cleanliness stays. If this town law can be amended it could benefit any local villagers with their ability to keep their pets/livestock.
