Lynn has been promised the Blue Line extension for half a century and the city of over 90k people need the blue line, and the city needs the blue line to help stimulate development in the downtown and waterfront districts.
Lynn is a large urban center where people living here rely on public transit to get around our great metro of greater Boston but Lynn is cut off from the rest of metro Boston.
Lynn and everyone in it would greatly benefit from this project.
We, the undersigned, call on the commonwealth of Massachusetts through the MBTA to finally make good on the commitment to build an extension of the Blue line to Lynn.
