I believe biracial families should have a right to put down on paper all races that apply to them, whether it's white, black, Hispanic, indian,e.t.c.
I had a friend tell me that, when she filled out a form at the school for her kids she could only mark down one race for her children even though they were biracial. I don't think that's right.
I teach my kids that it is OK to be biracial. So when you see these forms that asks what is your race, it should be our right to put down all races that apply, if those races that their asking for is on the forms.
We, the undersigned, are asking for the people of United States to read this and understand what we mean.
It's only fair that these families know that they have a right, and that we should be happy with our race no matter what color we are.
