The Bio-Booster Armor Guyver series has been around for a long time. I first came upon it some years ago back when VHS was still the thing to have, and I rented several episodes from a Blockbuster, not realizing the awesomeness that I had stumbled upon.

It began as a Manga, I think, or was adopted as one, like so many other Japanese Anime series, and then became two live action movies, one of which starred David Hayter, voice of the famous Solid Snake. There are too many anime series out there to count, and I understand that trying to make all of the popular ones into video games would be impossible and impracticle, but I can think of few as worthy for this attempt as the Guyver Series. It has a little of everything -violence, deep plot and themes to make one think, a little romance, some of the mystical, marital arts, and sci-fantasy tech stuff.

The potential is staggering. I can see little reason for there not to have been at least four games already released, slightly different genres on different consoles, probably since the SNES. If any were ever made, I haven't heard of them, perhaps they never made it State Side. Consider how many horrible games come out, just complete trash that never should have made it past the conceptual stages, to say nothing of final products full of glitches, horrible voice acting, repetitive, dull gameplay and yawn-inducing plots. With the right team behind a Guyver project, millions of fans would flock to the game stores just to have some interactive Guyver at long last. 3rd person action adventure, X-men Legends style Action/Rpg, 3d (or even 2d) fighting -these should be the genres given the most consideration.

With a wealth of lore and characters and possible settings, this could be the next big thing, thrilling the established fan base and drawing in a whole new crowd. Someone knows what this could be -one of you Developers knows you can make gold with this.

Guyver fans, we haven't been given anywhere near the sort of love that Naruto and Dragonball has seen.

How has this great concept, full of action and drama, been overlooked, and yet we got not only two Bloodrayne games, but pitiful Live Action movies as well? How could this have happened, rather than a live action Legacy of Kain? Because we didn't speak up and let those in positions to make things happen know what we wanted.

Just imagine creating your CUSTOM GUYVER, one optimized for speed and agility, one for fire-power, one for close combat with vibration blades -imagine this character rushing through zoanoid legions, slashing and leaping via-smooth controls. This NEEDS to happen. Write in those various game magazines, EGM and all of them, make the word Guyver appear on every other page. Make your own petitions.

Anywhere there's a chance Developers eyes will be caught, put the word Guyver there. I'm waiting to boss-fight a hyber-zoanoid - how about you?
