During the week beginning 20th July, there were 3 burglaries, 2 of which were neighbouring flats. These are not the first burglaries that have taken place in Clarence Close and we believe that it is time action is taken to better protect our properties and to responsibly address the situation.
We have been advised by the Metropolitan Police that there are several areas of your premises which are making the ground floor flats easy targets. We have been informed that the Police have already made you aware of these areas but that you have not been compliant with their advice. This means that the area continues to be unsecure and is still being targeted, which makes us feel vulnerable and unsafe.
On the written petition there is also a list of practical things we would like the management company to do. However, it would be unwise to list these on the internet as it highlights the areas of the Close which are less secure.
We, the undersigned tenants of Clarence Close, request better security on the premises you manage.
