Background (Preamble):
going to sixth form should be encouraged as the current economic crisis prevents anyone from getting jobs, so financial backing must be in place. The Educational maintenance allowance is so narrow it hardly covers any student and their needs, so i am proposing the EMA to be available for every one staying for sixth form at school.
Petition:
We the sixth form students call on the government to raise the educational maintenance allowance so it suits everyone's needs and offers them reasonable financial backing with no tax or yearly earnings brackets to comply with.
