In the baxter frankston south area there are many young skaters, bmxers and scooter riders that are lacking the equipment and support they need to fine tune their skill and progress in their sports to the fullest.
There is a supplied Bmx park with very small dirt jumps that have never been maintained and are falling apart and do not fit the criteria needed for skaters and scooter riders and there is plenty of land to build a great skate park.
This skate park would also reduce the amount of young people walking around destroying public property because they do not have anything better to do. This park would also help to build baxter up to a more well known area. Making the peninsula a greater place.
