Petition Background (Preamble):
Scented products can be just as bad for some people as drugs, have some of the same effects; and therefore should be removed from the Olympics and affiliated organizations, as well as training facilities, practice facilities, and other classrooms.

Whereas, chemically scented products contain chemicals harmful to human health, putting both the Athlete and spectator at risk,
Whereas, shared air concerns are on the rise due to disabilities such as COPD, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, and Asthma as well as other illnesses.
We the undersigned call on the United States Olympic Committee to ban the use of scented products in the Olympics and affiliated organizations, including training facilities, and classes, making attendance and participation healthy and fair for all.
