Thanks to everyone who didn't sign the petition. Apparently only one person in the world thinks that burglar alarms are a waste of time so don't anyone ever moan to me ever again if they can't get to sleep at night because of a pointless wailing alarm. Thanks to Miss Bickerdike for her support.
We, the undersigned, call on the British government to ban the use of burglar alarms for cars and houses in their present form.
We have had enough of the awful noise pollution they make and believe the alarm should only be heard in a central office which can be picked up immediately and the police informed if necessary.
Stop alarms screaming.
