Background (Preamble):
During the previous Battle of Aiken re-enactments the dance has been placed under the pavilion with uneven ground and nothing to block the wind. It makes for a cold and painful night of dancing.
Petition:
I am forming this petition in hopes that we can get some type of wind breaker put up for the dance and also some even ground to where we will be able to enjoy the dance much more then we have in past years.
Many re-enactors look forward to the dances so much and so do the youth.
Why not make it more pleasant for us?!
