We, the undersigned residents of the Baby Point area, petition for a green grocer to become an active business member of our community.
There is no convenient store in our neighbourhood where residents can pick up groceries for their families. A recent report compiled by Innovative Community Development Consultants (ICD) on the demographics of the area shows an expanding population of close to 10,000 people, mostly of young families with children. Twenty-four new townhouses are presently being built on Jane Street. The Baby Point BIA has been successful in increasing the number of parking places in the shopping area and lengthening their hours of use and in adding public green space to be enjoyed by the whole community.
Our area needs a greengrocer to meet its growing needs. As residents of the Babypoint area we will support it with our custom.
