An army school was attacked by the terrorists in the City of Peshawar, Pakistan on the 16 December 2014. During this attack over 140 of the staff and students were martyred and many more injured.
The bravery, courage and resilience shown by the staff and students was of the highest caliber.
Some of the account of the ordeal by the survivors of the attack and bravery displayed can not be described in words. A few words of condolence is not enough to keep the memory of the martyred and survivors alive in history.
Therefore we very strongly feel that the Nishan-e-Haider, the highest award for bravery to be awarded to the school for the staff and students.
We the undersigned call upon the Government of Pakistan to award Nishan-e-Haider, the highest bravery award to the army school in Peshawar Pakistan to recognise the bravery and courage displayed by the staff and the pupils during the attack by the terrorists on 16 December 2014.
