Autonomus Region for Muslims

It has been observed in the past 6 decades that the situation of the minorities in India especially of the muslims are getting from bad to worse. The last one and half decade had experienced the worst kind of genocide and planned socio-economic backwardness of the muslim community not happened but created by the communal elements in the authority behind the mask of secularism and democracy. The genocide in Gujarat and elsewhere had sowed the seeds of hatred among the youths of minority which resorted to backlash in the form of terrorism. These youths have lost faith, confidence and trusts in the authority, administration and above all the judiciary which had the discriminatory attitude of leaving the accused politicians free who were involved in the massacre and when retaliated by these youths, they were termed as terrorists and faced brutality. The innocents too suffer the same fate. In the past years they had been deprived of their Urdu language too which is their identity and faced as a controviersial language though recognized by the country's constitution. It is time for the United Nations to intervene in the region and force the Indian Government to create an autonomous region for the muslims of India. This autonomous region will include, Kashmir, South Western Uttar Pradesh (comprising of districts of Lucknow, Azamgarh, Faizabad, Meerut, Etawah, Bareilly), Rajasthan, Gujarat, Western Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal, Burhanpur and other adjoing western districts of the state), North Western Maharashtra (comprising of the districts of Dhulia, Jalgaon, Ahmednagar, Bombay, Thana, Aurangabad, Poona and Raigad). This autonomous region will be working under the supervision of the United Nations observers and representatives and under their UN peacekeeping forces. As the muslims and other minorities have lost faith in the Indian armed forces and the Indian police who always sided by the majority.

People belonging to other communities irrespective of their language, caste, creed and ethnic background will be allowed to stay in the region without any trouble to their identity. The offical language of the autonomous region will be Urdu and English besides Hindi and other regional languages.
