The Augusta Chronicle, which is one of the oldest newspapers in the United States, is a well respected publication in the southeast. Their online viewing feature attracts many local and out of town browsers daily of different descent, age, sex, and religion.
Many of the local articles published online are followed by highly inappropriate comments against certain races, genders, and religions. Unlike many media sites, you cannot report nor flag these users so they're allowed to post freely and without consequence.
We, the undersigned, call on the staff and administration of the Augusta Chronicle to develop a feature to their online site that allows users to report other users who are posting inappropriate comments.
Users who are frequently reported should be removed from access of posting comments.
