In January 2012 the bus service 55 run by Arriva was deemed not viable to run which caused it to be scraped by local authorities. In order to catch a bus to Durham for what ever reason IE: College,Shopping ETC you now have to travel Sedgefield.
I would like people to sign this petition so i can forward it to Arriva and Durham county council. There are many people suffering now the 55 Route has been took off and has not been replaced. If you live in any of the Trimdons you can not catch a bus to Durham.
To achieve this you have to travel all the way to Sedgefield then onto Durham which is NOT on. Many people who live in Trimdon who work and travel to Durham on a regular basis is no longer able to do so.
