Free the Arab-Iranian activists

To the U.N. Human Rights Commission:

With due respect,

I am writing to you with regard to the execution sentences handed to five Arab-Iranian human rights activists by the names of: Mohammad Ali Amouri, Hashem Shaabani, Hadi Rashed, Jaber Albooshkeh, and Mokhtar Albooshkeh, who had been arrested and then imprisoned in the civil protests of recent years in Iran in the city of Ahvaz, in the southwestern province of Khuzestan.

According to the civil and human rights sources inside Iran, the mentioned activists were not only deprived of the most elementary judicial rights, but were also subjected to severe mental and physical pressures and tortures including solitary confinement in order for the security forces of the Islamic Republic to extract a forced confession from them.

I demand that the U.N. Human Rights Commission immediately and unequivocally condemn these sentences as the lives of these activists are in imminent danger. I also demand that the U.N considers to the fullest t extent possible the grave situation of political and conscientious prisons in Iran with utmost urgency.
