Currently Apache junction, AZ does not have a urban lake. Citizens who would like to fish in the urban lake programs must travel some distance for that opportunity. Our city has a perfect park ( Prospector park ) for a urban lake.
The park in question does have enough space for a lake and the other facilities it provides. Prospector park has two play ground locations, while one would do. Opening up plenty of space for a lake. An urban lake in Apache junction will be a great addition for youth and adult anglers alike.
