Ant and Dec are two of the funniest British entertainers ever to hit our screens. Every Saturday morning they'd light up our screens with their impromptu jokes, sketches like "Chums", and their bright and positive attitude. People like Brian Dowling and Tess Daly who replaced them, although funny, can not match up to their success. They used to pull in 3 times the audience of its rival The Saturday Show on BBC1, but since leaving, ratings have slid and they are now level with the rival show, with the rival show pulling ahead a lot of the time.
Ant and Dec, come back! The company behind SM:TV, do whatever it takes to get them back on our screens on Sat. morning again! Ant & Decs Saturday night Takeaway doesn't measure up to their performance on SM:TV.
