I was on my way over to my Parents house traveling west on 422, when all of the sudden coming from the North on Jug St. was an Amish buggy. This Amish buggy didn't even stop, let alone slow down. It ran the Stop Sign and continued on!
Now had I not been doing the speed limit or had the Semi Truck coming from the west been going faster there would have been an accident. This is why I feel that the Amish buggies should have License Plates! Had they had one I would have reported him!
Near accidents with Amish Buggies happen not just at this intersection.
I feel it's time that the Amish should have License Plates.
We, the undersigned, call on the BMV & Ohio State Legislator, to require Amish Buggies License Plates.
They follow the same road Laws as we do, so their Buggies should be licensed so that when they break a road law, like running a Stop Sign or weaving over the yellow line, they can be reported to the authorities.
