Bob and Helen Howard started this business back in 1991 with most neighbors all for this. Amerigrow was formally called Country Mulch. Amerigrow is a site that ONLY accepts organic vegetation that can be processed and turned into mulch and/or soil.
Everything that comes into the facility is recycled. Everything that is used in the office or maintenance areas are recycled such as office equipment, paper, bottles, glass boxes, oil, grease,tires etc..
Since Amerigrow has taken over operations in 2005 of this facility we have consistently been in compliance with all DEP, Health Dept, Fire Inspectors and SWA inspections. We have requested on several occasions that "The Jupiter Farmer" let us print our response to the articles that they have written negatively against us and we have been denied. We have asked to advertise in their local "paper" and have been denied.
We, the undersigned, call on the county commissioners office to reconsider the request made by Amerigrow to renew our permit at the Amerigrow of Jupiter location.
