AFTER (America Fighting To End Recession)

RECESSION! What is it and how to stop it? Let's face the facts. Since the new election, our country is hurting badly. Millions of Americans are without a job. People have lost their jobs, cannot get a job, losing everything they own....... living in TENTS and Shelters. Shelters are full and have to turn people away! What are people to do? Can I, YOU, US, AMERICA fight for this? YES, we can.

Maybe I can't change the recession, but I hope to HELP everyone in need with just a few basics; support, more awareness, raise money to feed and shelter homeless people who have been affected from the recession. After several stories that went down in history of people helping one another, I want to do the same thing. To name a few; In 1984 Bob Geldof heard of the famine in Africa and started a Global charity concert called "LIVE AID". 100 artists played and they raised 150 million dollars in ONE day to help raise awareness and begin the fight AGAINST world hunger. Then there was Betty Williams in 1976, a receptionist and mother of two, witnessed three children killed during the political turmoil in Northern Ireland. Within TWO days, Betty obtained 6,000 signatures petitioning for peace. ONE WEEK LATER, she organized another march, this time the march was 35,000 strong.

Of course who can forget Nelson Mandela? In 1920 he was a small boy who had a dream that one day the world would have equality over his country. After years of activism, he was charged with political treason and sentenced to LIFE in prison. In 1990, after 27 years in prison, he was finally released and won the election ending racist Apartheid Regime that divided South Africa for 46 years! LETS DO THIS!
