The current law allows the "Society" to go to a court of law, without the parents of the child(ren) in question being present, and swear an "information" that allows them to "apprehend" a child(ren) despite whether the information is indeed valid or out of maliscious intent.

The current law also give the CAS quotas to meet on how many children they take into care and adopt out. They get paid for every child they successfully take.

WE, the undersigned, petition the Legislature of Canada as follows:-

That the current Child and Family Services Act be amended; specifically, but not limited to, 40.(1)-(4).

WE, the undersigned, urge you to change the law so that no person has the ability to steal another person's child, UNLESS that person has harmed the child in question.

The current law allows the "Society" to go to a court of law, and violate our basic human rights, without the parents of the child(ren) in question being present, and swear an "information" that allows them to "apprehend" a child(ren) despite whether the information is indeed valid or out of maliscious intent.

Parents must be allowed to defend themselves before their child is taken, unless they have specifically harmed that child. Most of the cases involving Child Protective Services are based on what-ifs and outdated historical references, the Society snatches our children at birth, breaks our bond with them and then adopts them out.

The society is paid by your government for every child it successfully takes from its BIRTH PARENTS and adopts out.

WE urge you to stop funding them. We are sure you will see there are less children in actual need of protection if you don't pay them for every "head" they collect. We are also sure the money they take for every child, could be better spent elsewhere.

Thank You.
