With this ever evolving life that we live we need to amend the laws to reflect the society of today not 150 years ago.
We need to amend section 83 of the Canadian Criminal Code.
We the Combative athletes of this great province and Country Request an Amendment to a archaic law that is in no way in touch with the needs of today.
Section 83 of the Criminal code was brought about over 150 years ago and does not address the needs of today's society.
We live in a DEMOCRATIC society and as such no one man should have the power or control to establish or create a monopoly of any industry in any way shape or form.
The rush to institute Bill-S-209 left a huge gap in the legislation for Amateur combative sports and this needs to be addressed NOW.
