Fanfiction.net is exactly what it sounds like: It's a place where user's can create fanfiction about cartoons, anime, books, pretty much everything! It's got a great free service, since you can post your stories in chapters, and other people can review them. However, just resently it "reminded" users that you couldn't type song lyrics within your fanfiction. So, you couldn't have your characters listening to you're favorite music!
This petition is to allow, with a proper disclaimer, of course, the use of music lyrics within the fanfiction's.

**We agree that Fanfiction.net should allow the use of music lyrics within it's user's fanfictions. This should be done with a proper disclaimer, saying the artist/title of the song, and saying that the user does not own the song. In this way, it's not going against copyright, but it will still allow users to write FanFiction to there full potential.**
