This petetion is in reference to Alan Ray Thomas Jr. He is currently incarcerated in Pickens County Jail. He has a probation hold on him for Lowendes County because he was a Probationee of yours a few years ago.
He has made a lot of mistakes in his life, but with this last bit of trouble he has gotten himself in he has learned a lot from it. We are hoping that this petition will show you how many lives Alan has affected and how much faith people have in him.
This petition is asking for the release of the probation hold that he has. We would like you to consider putting him on house arrest before sending him to prison.
Not only his family, but others in the community, are willing to make sure that he is able to come to his weekly visits and able to pay his fines off. He is no better than anyone else, but as stated earlier he has learned from this mistake and he is a different person. All he needs is one more chance to prove himself.
