The runoff presidential elections for Afghanistan were held on June 14, 2014.

Two teams, The Reform and Partnership team led by Dr Abdullah Abdullah and The Change and Continuity Team led by Dr Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai took part.

A credible presidential election was supposed to be the signature achievement of the 13-year international involvement in Afghanistan that has cost hundreds of billions of dollars and claimed the lives of thousands of coalition and Afghan troops as well as thousands of Afghan Civilians. A legitimate transfer of power is also indispensable for the continuation of Western aid, on which the country's economy relies.

The long suffering People of Afghanistan, having had enough of the corrupt and useless government of President Karzai, accepted many security risks and turned out in record numbers in both rounds of the elections. Their wish was and is to shape their government and political destiny with the power of their Vote.

Unfortunately the so called "independent" election commissions and their officials have proven that they are not independent, impartial or objective. Most recently, Mr. Amarkhail, the commission's executive director was caught and stands accused by Kabul Police of trying to facilitate electoral fraud. This came in addition to countless proven cases of ballot stuffing by Mr Ghani's supporters.

1. We call upon the United Nations, the Government of the United States of America and the European Union, to exert pressure on care-taker President, Mr. Karzai to stop playing politics with the faith of the Afghan People with the desire of continuing his rule.

2. We call on the aforementioned to introduce their objective and expert monitors so they can observe the vote counting process.

3. We ask that the aforementioned authorities bring pressure to bare so a new election can be held with their observance - at least in the southern provinces of Afghanistan.

4. The International Community owe it to the Afghan People not to allow the green shoots of Democracy in Afghanistan to be poisoned by the Western backed technocrats who have medieval mindsets and in actions and words sympathise with the Terrorist Taliban.

5.We, the undersigned, want a full review of Afghan Election fraud to determine the appropriate course of action to elimante fraudulent results.
