Abolition of Mainland Entry Permit!

我們向行政長官,全體立法會議員,出入境機關官員呼籲:

盡快修訂現行港,澳人員往返內地證件出入系統,並就允許直接使用港,澳政府簽發的回港證即時作可行性研究;

在五年內,內地和港,澳政府應該達成共識,進一步簡化港,澳居民進入內地制度;

2017年中期全面實施港,澳永久居民憑居民身份證進入內地,非永久居民或外僑憑回港證五年限期內無限次進出內地.

So we urge the Chief Executive, Legislative Councilors, head of immigration authorities that the system of travel documents of Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR residents should be revised, and to research the possibility of direct use of Re-entry Permit issued by Hong Kong and Macao governments as valid documents to enter mainland China.

The governments of mainland China, Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR should reach the consensus within five years for simplifying the regime for travel to mainland of residents in Hong Kong and Macao within five years.

The arrangement of Hong Kong or Macao permanent residents using resident identity cards and non-permanent residents or expatriates using Re-entry Permit as valid travel documents to mainland China should be enforced in mid-2017.
