Abolish the DISD Dress Code

We, the undersigned, call for Dickinson ISD to abolish the school uniforms mandatory on all DISD campuses. We ask that a new dress code be inforced.

We agree that the children should not be allowed to be offensive or distracting to others, however they should be allowed to express themselves and never again be pulled away from their lessons because of something as ridiculas as whether or not there is a stripe on their collar.

We feel that our childrens choice of clothing for the day in no way should govern whether or not DISD chooses to educate them.
