Background (Preamble):
Junk mail, i.e. unsolicited mail, is a
plague that most Americans have to endure every time they go to their mailbox. The U.S. Postal Service's second largest business is selling your address to junk mailers. This seems like a breech of trust. We entrust the USPS with our addresses to deliver mail and not a bunch of garbage. It wastes an incredible amount of resources and practically everyone is against it except those who profit from it.
Unsolicited faxes are illegal per Federal law, so let's make unsolicited U.S. Mail illegal!
