Abolish Federal Income Tax

The United States Federal Government has wasted billions of dollars on waste, fraud, corruption, and frivolous projects. As a result they have put the American people into $16 Trillion in debt, and a projected budget deficit of over $1 Trillion dollars every year for the foreseeable future with no end in sight.

In order to combat the consequences of misinformed and mismanaged decisions by our elected representatives it is proposed that the federal taxes be eliminated.

It is the proposal of this petition that each state will enact a State Income Tax to pay for its financial needs. By keeping more taxpayer money closer to constituents there will be more accountability on the part of elected officials. Pet projects will be eliminated, local and state officials will be able to provide for the wants and desires of their citizens without interference from the various senators and congresspeople from other states.

States will be able to create their own tax laws based on the amount of tax revenue they feel is necessary to provide the services they see fit for their citizens.

In addition, to fund the Federal Government each State will contribute 10% of their tax revenue to the Federal Government Budget to help pay for the national debt, military, disaster relief efforts, and other essential projects that affect the nation as a whole.

The 10% Federal Taxes collected can be redistributed to the States if needed and approved by the Congress.
