Safe Return of Abdallah Aldaker

Abdallah Aldaker is Eight and a half years old. His was taken on holiday to Syria by his father (A Syrian Citizen) almost five months ago. His father is refusing to return Abdallah to the United Kingdom, to the loving arms of his mother Elaine, on the basis that he does not deem her fit to raise his son. Abdallah's parents divorced several years ago, and have amicably enjoyed joint custody of their son.

Abdallah's mother Elaine is devastated. Her son was her world, and she grieves her loss like a death. What was the terrible thing that Elaine did to justify these actions? Did she verbally, physicall or emotionally abuse her son ? No! She merely took him to a hotel for lunch with his grandmother. A Hotel which had a bar! This is her ex husband's justification for destroying her world and uprooting their child. She took her son within the vicinity of a bar!

The Home Office, Foreign Office and MSPs are all fighting Elaines' corner. By signing this petition you show Elaine your support, and demonstrate to all official bodies both here and in Syria, that this unjustifiable act will not be tolerated. A copy of this petition will be sent to 10 Downing Street, The Foreign Office, The Home Office, and to the Syrian Consulate.
