Recently the A612 from Burton Joyce through to Gedling was changed. However, although it allows traffic to flow better towards Netherfield, it now blocks all access towards Gedling, and indeed from Gedling too, unless you travel the extra few miles, to go all the way around the area, causing more delays for you, wasting time and petrol, and risking getting completely lost in Nottingham as I did.
The bus plug system basically consists of traffic lights that can only be triggered by a bus, otherwise they remain red. This forces people to get frustrated and go through them! This obviously poses a danger.
If you want the Council to remove these plugs and allow those who need to, to get through, please sign this petition.
